About Us
Pastors Joe & Carmen Trevino  Founders | Executive Directors
In 1992, Joe & Carmen Trevino were given a two story apartment building just outside of downtown Houston with six rental apartments. Many people could have seen this as an excellent opportunity to create wealth or cash flow, not the Trevinos. They saw an opportunity to help others. In 1994, the doors of Victory Family Recovery Center for men were opened to the city.  In 1998, Having the same vision for the women a women's recovery center located behind the men's recovery center was opened. Joe and Carmen serve as Pastors of Victory Family Church and have also founded in 2005 a Men's Recovery Center in Merida Yucatan Mexico.

Pastor Ron Waggener  Director | Men's Recovery Center

Ron entered Victory Family Recovery Center at 42 years of age. He knew it was time to make Jesus Lord, not just Savior. Things were not working out his way. What started out as occasional weekend recreational drug use, turned into more and more drugs, and troubles became overwhelming. He entered Victory Family Recovery Center excited for what God was going to do in his life. Today, Ron serves as the Men's Recovery Center Director. He is still excited with what God is doing in his life and the life of other men as well.

Lorraine Medina  Director | Women's Recovery Center

Even with parents who were great role models, after High School, Lorraine chose a different path than college. She left home and soon began a 27 year addiction to alcohol and drugs. In 2001, at the age of 47, she enrolled into the Victory Family Women's Recovery Center. After completing the 2 year program and serving as an intern with the ministry, Lorraine Medina is currently the Director of the women's center and lives on site serving and teaching daily.
